B5 Audi A4 Seats - Can they fit with fabbed up brackets?

    Hello,
I have been a long time lurker and haven't really posted anything yet.

I am looking at a nice set of front seats from a B5 Audi A4. They are manual and a nice colour.

I am just worried that they will be too wide to fit in my 1986 325e.

I searched a bit but couldn't find anything conclusive. I will take measurements before I look at them... just hoping someone knew off the top of their head.

I had that some color interior in my B5 A4. I think you will have problems finding mounting points for the seat due to the way it is set up. The seat does not bolt down to the floor. It slides in on the back and has a center post in the front.

Aha, similar to my old MK2 VW Jetta then. Hmm, things may have to be cut and welded then. We shall see.

      thanks

you will have to cut and weld as I turned the the same two front seats into office chairs. unless its from the 2.8 those things are vinyl and tend to crack easily just a FYI
