my guess is that if you had the right adapters or adapter rails yes, direct fit? i have no idea.

are you asking if they would fit right in? then the answer is no. but if you are wiling to put in the work, any seat would fit..

01 m3 seats are nice and would be worth it

Might be too wide to even fit. I know vaders out of an E36 are pretty tight.

I have a friend who has a pair of E46 sport seats in his E30, so I would assume that the M3 seats would also fit. But keep in mind those M3 seats are HEAVY.
