    5 pt. harness install help

    i have a corbuea fx1 pro seat and am purchasing a 5 pt harness. i dont have a cage or even bar for the shoulder harness.

    is there anyway to install the shoulder harnesses with out the use of either options said before?
    E30 LS1 swap, Tremec TKO, three link live axle rear suspension.

            Yes this. If the angle is not much coming off the back of the seat you can use the rear seat belt mounting location. However I doubt the straps are long enough. For the fifth point you need to make a hole in the floor or weld in a plate to attach it to.               A 4-point one is fine for an open lot autocross. I wouldn't ever wear one on a track without a cage. The anti-submarine belt is to prevent you from sliding under the dash in a front end collision. You should have a cage if you're going fast enough to necessitate the 5th point.

                The thing is, he is using fixed back seats with the harness, which as we know, don't collapse in a roll over.
