    Hood Release lever - Placement

    My cars hood mechanism was brutal and so was the cable so the other day i bought a new mechanism and ran a new cable through. But im wondering where the lever is (screwed?) onto. The lever was half broken when i first got it so i haven't seen where its supposed to be mounted in the first place.

          I dont have a picture but I believe its right next to the speaker kick panel on the driver side.

              It mounts over the top of the speaker kick panel on the driver side.
