Trunk lining - broken particle board

What are you guys doing when the flaps of your trunk lining are all busted up inside?
Has anyone tried to open one up and fix it or just get another one? Seems if I get another one I'll have the same issue in a few years anyway so I'd like to open it up and fix it permanently.

Get a replacement, and don't sit on it.
