Touring rear seat question

    Touring rear seat question

    How the hell do you get them out? I can't get the black hinging part that the uppers are attached to off of the body. Maybe I'm supposed to take the seat backs off of that and leave that on the car?

      It is actually really easy. There are two spring loaded latch that are part
      of the hinge itself. I used two falt screwdriver two keep them "unlocked"
      while I pulled the seat out. Also the seat are heavy.

      I did cursed quite a bit figuring it out...

        Yeah like Charley said. Use a big flat tip and in the center where the seat pivot pins are you have to pull back the pin. It has a spring inside the seat so the pin will slide in. Give it a few tries then pull up on the seat.

          It took a lot of force to get mine moving but it worked. The back rest was pretty easy once I figured it out.
