    Blinker wont automatically turn off

Hey guys I need some help with this. Recently I took off my steering wheel, its an airbag wheel if that matters, and after the reinstallation the turn signal wont click off automatically after turning and straightening the wheel.

Im not really sure whats happened. I took the wheel off again to check it out, but couldnt work out what was wrong. Could anyone point me in the right direction? It seems like since it just happened when I took the wheel off it is the wheel not hitting something to disengage the indicator. Can anyone explain how the mechanism works?

    Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Are you sure the wheel is fully seated? There's a tab on the back of the wheel near the center hole at 3:00 (when looking at the back side) that engages the turn signal switch to turn it off when the whell returns to the straight-ahead position.

Okay. Thanks for explaining it I think the problem is I lost the piece that comes out of the stalk to catch on the wheel. Mine is definitely missing the white tab seen in this picture
