    Carpet Set...where to get one?

I need a new carpet, and I've been looking at places online for one that has to have a few things:

    Heel Pad
Side Foot Pad (next to accelerator pedal)
    Underfoam and sound deadening.
Replaces existing carpet (not goes over the old one).

Anyone have any idea where I can get a new carpet? I wouldn't dare ask at the dealer, thats just stupid.

Is your carpet stained or really worn? If its just dirty, then take it out and use a pressure washer at a carwash. It'll look 100% better. Aftermarket sets will not sit right once installed.

Cause that is gonna make it last longer. It might look good in the short run, but that is gonna be hard on it and wear it out quicker.

If your carpet is just stained, take out all your seats, get some good carpet cleaning product, and clean it real well. You would be suprised at the differeance that can make. If you have too many worn spots, don't like the color, or for some other reason know you just need new carpet, find a good carpet out of an e30 parts car and buy that. A new carpet that is actually gonna look good and fit well will either come from the dealer or have to be custom done, both are expensive.

          Mine isn't just stained.

It's torn near the heater core on the passenger side (very visible). It also doesn't sit correctly because the carpet I got was from a early E30, which has no deadening or foam covering.

It sits on the metal, and so it just sucks. I can see the wiring next to each front speaker since it doesn't sit right. Thats why I'm looking for a new one.

Why don't you contact Bavauto, they sell a full new replacement carpet (and floor mats, too). Just ask them whether their carpet is the same as OEM.

I have been thinking about replacing mine, but it's condition is currently not that bad, so there are other things to do first.

There is a thread about this in the FAQ. The answer is no.

And the quicker answer is that they're dark grey's. Not black. Has anyone found my above query? I would really like a new carpet...

If you have ever taken out e30 carpet youll see that no aftermarket kit could ever pull it off right. Some of the foam is like 3 inches thick, If you get NEW carpet your gonna have to get it from the dealer for like 600 or get someones used carpet thats in good cond. Good luck
