Sport seats kit: any place cheaper than eBay?

    Hey all,
It's time for me to get a new upholstery kit for the sport seats of my 91 vert. I need ALL seats upholstered in indigo blue (or black) vinyl. I saw those kits on eBay, and they can do all seats for $525. I wonder if you can get something similar for less? Do you know of a local shop, friend, etc that can make them?

I live in Hawaii and prices sucks here. Please let me know, so I can start calling people :)

    Thanks a lot in advance!
    Aloha!

I called a couple here in Hawaii (Honolulu). They won't do it for cheap...

you're better off looking around locally. shipping seats to/from hawaii is going to be a killer.

I have a set of black vinyl sport seat cover + the rear seat cover. They fit over your existing seat covers and look pretty good. I don't remember the brand off the top of my head but I posted them in the FS section. If you're interested send me an offer.

Thanks a lot for the offer, but I was thinking in getting something new. Where can I get those covers new? Aloha!

I bought the eBay ones and they exceeded my expectations. It's not a bad price for what you get. Check out my link for my MT2 rescue to see the fit and finish.

There is a local guy who charges $180 for the pair of front seats. I can't imagine he'd charge more then $150 for the rear.

I saw those kits and they really look nice. A kit for all the seats will run me about $700 (shipped to Hawaii) and I am looking to spend less than that... I actually thinking about re-dying it myself and see how it looks, unless I get a really good deal (within $400). Thanks for the info, those seats really look good!
