    Recovering cost?

For those of you who have looked into, or actually HAVE recovered sport seats how much did it cost? I am going to be getting a pair of sport seats and kinda wanna look into how much it costs to have them recovered in cloth. My car is tan leather right now. I dont know if I want to go to black interior or not yet. How much have you paid?

    Will

I'm having black cloth sewn for a pair of sport seats by a friend of Diego for a very, very good price. I just have to install the cloth once they ship it to me from Lima.

That is real cheap. A place here wanted $700-900 for the sport seats.

I had the sport seats in my last E30 reupholstered for $650, with cloth in the centers, and black vinyl on the bolsters. That included rewelding the frames in a few places where they were broken, and all new foam for the cushions.

My seats just got done today and the cloth should be shipping out early next week. $200 for materials, labor, and shipping. I just need to install the cloth myself. Keep in mind that they'll look even better when the cloth is stretched tighter over the frames.

Very nice, Ken! Hooray for cheap overseas labor.
