Can anyone give me some instructions on how to do this correctly i.e. preping the vinyl etc.. Also, does anyone have a good vinyl paint product they could recommend?

Why not just buy a set in the color you want and not paint them?

Buying them new is out of the question, way too expensive. I don't want to hunt them down at salvage yards. Do you know of another channel?

haha, seriously I wouldn't even considder buying them new. I know you said you don't want to, but I will say it anyways. Go to the junkyards. It will be much better than painting them. What color do you want? black? maybe I will help you out and ship you a set if I find one in the junkyards...

I'm sure there is somebody that is parting out their car on the forums that would love to sell you the door panels.

There are almost no good vinyl/leather dye products (you dont paint it!).

None of the ones I've seen work well or finish curing fast enough for a DIY project.

You can paint your carpet but you can't paint your door panels. I had an extra set of tan and tried it but it doesn't end up looking very good at all.

yeah, I didn't think you were referring to new...have anyone of you priced them new? It's absurdly expensive.

My car was blue on the inside (carpet and door panels) I've dyed my carpet black and had my busted-a** seats re-upholstered all in black as well. Now I need to figure out the door panels. Well, I will post a "looking for black door panels" then and see what comes up! If you guys hear anything, let me know, and/or mention it to whoever you think might have them. Thanks
