    Sunroof headliner removal

I need some clarification on how to remove the sunroof headliner
and I found the next two suggestion but need some help on which rout to do.
    A) To snap off headliner metal cassette #14 from Rain gutter #12
    B) unscrew item #17 and then #7 but the draw back is that the sunroof mechanism needs to be adjusted.
Please let me know what is your experience

Bentley only address the removal of the metal sun roof panel not the sunroof headliner. i already review it

              1. Crank or slide sun roof panel back halfway
              2. Unclip headliner panel from metal panel (see front edge of panel) by pulling straight down until you pop all the clips free
              3. Slide headliner panel back into the "roof" portion
              4. Close sunroof, and tilt it up at the rear
              5. Remove 6 torx bolts (3 per side) holding it to the the sliders - remove sunroof exterior panel.
              6. Slide headliner panel back towards front of car - about 80% closed so you have access to the arms clipped to drain pan
              7. CAREFULLY REMOVE arms from clips - the plastic clips slide onto little posts on the pan and you will need them - so no breakie ...
              8. Lift headliner panel out - viola!

NOTE: INSTALLATION IS REVERSE OF REMOVAL AND CAN BE A COMPLETE BITCH TO DO.

Yeah about a 1/4 a qt a week ... More troubling is the coolant loss ... 1 ring less than the "kalt" line. I thank a pull of this engine is near.

I did this with a combination of realOEM's diagram and just basic common sense. Took me a few hours by taking my time and not breaking shit.

What do you do about replacing the roof foam (behind the headliner) ? Is there a replacement part available...?

I dunno. I never looked. many folks remove that and put dyna mat or some crap like that under there. It's supposed to reduce the noise in the cabin, so an OEM+ upgrade must exist somewhere.
