How to stop a dash crack from spreading.

I have a 1 inch crack in the curve of my dash on the passenger's side. Fortunately it's completely invisible unless you're looking or feeling for it because it's in the curve of the little storage indentation on the top of the dash. I'm fine with it being there as long as it doesn't get any bigger.

I just ordered some Vinylex and a dash mat from Amazon. I use a windshield blocker and leave my sunroof and windows cracked for airflow. I'm probably going to get my windows tinted. It's hot as hell in Columbia already, and only going to get hotter.

I was thinking about filling it with JB Weld and coloring it in somehow. Has anybody tried this?

Drill a tiny hole at each end of it. It won't spread any further than the hole.

Same problem and now watching this thread. Problem is, the last thing I want is a ghetto JB weld job to show on my dash as the cracks fortunately look factory due to their placement. (Not really at all but it helps to think that way).
