    Sunroof lining

Does anyone know how to install the sunroof lining? I've looked all around for instructions on how to install it, but I've had no luck. I know this isn't a hard thing to do but I'm a total noob.

The Bentley book has the best description I have found. Basically, open the sunroof a few inches. Use a plastic trim tool to pry the front edge of the liner down away from the metal panel above. There are 6 or 7 metal spring clips holding it in place. Pry close to each clip. Once loose, slide the liner frame back into the roof to expose the metal sunroof above. Close the sunroof and tilt it forward in the vent position. Looking at the left and right side, there are three torx screws that hold the panel to the plastic carraige. Remove these screws and you should be able to lift the sunroof panel off of the car. Now slide the liner frame forward. At the back of the frame there is a drip tray attached. There are two small arms on either side of the frame that are clipped to this drip rail. These are held together with small plastic clips. Carefully pop these apart and you can lift the liner panel out form the car. It is possible to remove/install this panel without removing the outer metal panel, but it is a real pain.

Be careful not to bend the liner frame- it is spring metal. Once bent, it's usually done for. If the liner is out, take the time to reglue all the parts that are hanging. 3M makes a good spray adhesive just for cloth headliners.

When I bought my new liner from Kevin at Creative Options he told me to use landau glue. From what I've read the next best thing is going to be DAP Weldwood contact cement (they make the Landau glue too), especially if you plan to brush it on.
