    acetone stain on dashboard

I was using acetone to clean off some glue from a sticker on my windshield and I guess some of it dripped onto my dashboard and now there is a white 'stain' that doesnt seem to come off with any cleaners or anything. Is this permanent? what can I use to get rid of it, I tried dish soap, purple power and even vinylex....no dice.

Pic? I'd try some protectant or something on it. It may have just taken off some color/oils and it may not actually be a stain.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30
