    Cocomats... yes or no?

I've noticed that practically no one here on r3vlimited has Cocomats. From what I hear they wear like iron and look pretty good. Is there some issue with them I haven't heard, or are they just generally disliked for whatever reason?

Im not much for them. On older cars, they seem to look better. Im sticking with oem till they are NLA.

I ordered a set from bavauto a couple years ago and wasn't too stoked on the quality. They did do a great job at collecting dirt though, and it all shook or vacuumed right out.

I have 3 sets of these, including a set in my E30 cabrio. I highly recommend them, but I order the better quality custom ones from cocomats.com They will custom make in whatever color you like.

Someone did a review on these recently... http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=249954

I bought them after reading that.
I just bought and put them in about a week ago. They are very high quality, way more thick and durable than OEM. Looks is subjective but I think they look very classy and high quality.
With the OEM mats, and any others I have used in the past, the mats tend to "ride up" like get pushed forward over time I guess from your feet and they get over the pedals which is very annoying. I had to zip tie them to the seat rails to prevent it from happening. The coco mats don't do this at all! They fit tighter and have a rubber grip on the bottom so they don't move at all. I should also note that they are very, very heavy for a mat. If you care about weight this is bad but if you don't then it's just good because they stay in place and are very high quality. A++ would buy again.:)
