another seat dying question...

So i have been searching the forums and I found a bunch about dying blue seats blue and black seats black, but what about tan seats red?
I got a set of tan sport seats for dirt cheap so I couldn't pass it up, but I'm in the middle of swaping my interior to red.
Can I dye these seat red to match my rear seats and have it come out decent? Doesn't the dye wear off? And has anyone found dye that closely matches cardnail red?
