    Door Panels with Cloth inserts

What models came with the cloth inserts in the door panels? I am planning to reupholster and have always liked the look of the panels with the inserts. I know a lot of Euro models have it.

Yeah, my '84 318 had some nasty cloth door panels. They were tan with a checkered pattern.

I swapped pretty fast. The springs in my seats were really worn.

One question. Are these panels such that you could swap out the cloth on them?
