I love the tan recaro you have above. It's hard to see the exact color compared to our BMW colors. Is that more toward the natur color? ( looks darker than pearl beige). Also, thinking of going with a set of these or finding replacement e30 seats that have been reupholstered, do y'all reupholster OEM e30 seats? Thanks.

That specific material was not from an oem book but we can get an exact match to the oem bmw colors in leather and vinyl.

removal of the back seat, build up a false floor. Primarily see it done in hatches and vehicles with no welded in rear shelf.

The false floor pictured was in an 07 gti. He wanted to ditch the rear seat and do a flase floor, but keep access to his air tank. We did a stepped set up with a door that would allow him access to the bottom of the tank without having to remove everything

I have a line on black lx's. Foam looks good, no tears on passenger side seat. 1 3" tear in drivers side upper bolster. Is this something you could fix? The person wants $400 for the pair, is this the going rate for the lx's or should I hold out for ls-bs? (I'm a bigger guy)

Honestly lx's tend to break down faster then ls's and do not hold as high of a resale value. For 4-500 you should be able to find a set without damage. I would not pay more then 300 for a damaged set.

The problem with lx's is that there is very minimal rebar for the upper bolsters so there is virtually no support. If you can see a rip in the bolster i guarantee there is more damage you cant see.

They are great seats but for bigger guys i would say they are a bad idea. Im 6'2 240 myself and i prefer the ls's over the lx's myself.

All that being said get me some pictures and ill let you know what you can do with them.

Great thanks for the information. I'm about the same size as you and support is obviously a good thing. May I send an email to Ron @jj email with the picture?

Edit: sent you 3 pictures from e30festohio
