Help me identify a shift knob

The best shift knob I've ever had was in my bronzit car, I was told it was out of a 5 series but I'm not sure. It was wooden and had an OEM BMW 5 speed pattern emblem. It was properly weighted too, would make an awesome combo with my SSK. here's the CLOSET I can find, except it didn't have the leather, but the wood pattern is identical.

I would totally love anyone who can identify it for me.

damn pricey knobs! Digging the design though, wonder if it comes in a darker wood to match black interior?

Close, the wood pattern is different though, its like the one in the eBay link. I like that one though. I wonder if it's weighted?

I'm assuming its the e39 m5 shift knob, maybe with a different shift pattern piece on top. or maybe a e39 528i shifter since the 540 had the 6 speed?? I can't recall if the 528 got the wood shift knob but if it did I'd imagine that's what your looking for
