Anyone retrofit OEM heated seat switches to aftermarket heating pads

I am having aftermarket heated seat pads installed in some Recaro LS.

Instead of using the harness from the heated seat pads to control and power them, I wanted to use the OEM heated seat harness and switches.

So the two questions I have are:

    - Can the OEM harness handle the current draw of the new aftermarket heating pads? The aftermarket setup comes with a relay and a 10A fuse so I wanted to make sure I'm not going to melt any of the factory wiring.

    - Has anyone spliced in the OEM heated seat switches to control the aftermarket heating pads? The aftermarket one is a 3 position (low/high/off) switch so I believe it should work.

TIA for any help and information.
