http://www.custom-steering-wheels.com/blank I used one of these kits for mt mt1 wheel. Couldn't find a DIY online, but i started at the center spoke and worked my way out to each side spoke. There's a few little techniques to learn, but i was able to figure it out from generic youtube videos. Took me 5 hours or so to remove and install

    BUMP!!!

Does anyone know where I can get the leather myself for a mtech 2 wheel? I'm looking for new leather in the tri-color stitch like Iron-E posted? I've been looking around and it seems maybe Alan Gun might have them? I am going to spam some of you guys with PM's.

I have a re-wrapped airbag wheel done in Napa and tri-color stitching. I'll unload it if someone wants it. I got it from a fellow in LA when I purchased seats from him. I forget his name, but re-wrapping can definitely be done for any wheel. It's just a matter of finding a competent shop to do it (as is for any good work).

I have a re-wrapped wheel just like iron-e posted. And it's flawless. So, yes, a re-wrapped wheel can look perfect.

Can you family beat AGLA price? I might need a couple done soon.

Was hoping it would be less than that. Not that I'm a cheapskate, but I think that's more than I want to consider spending.

Well I just spoke to Joe at JPM Coachworks who quoted me $495. Said they'd have to buy an entire hide. Sheesh.
Most people have a hard time coughing up that kind of money, that's a little pricey for leather though (JMP Coachworks) I'm sure my family's shop could beat that. ;)

That was for an early vert wheel, looked sweet when it was all done.

Not at this time, sorry Trent. I'm still picking at that same wheel, the forums have been keeping me busy with shift boots.

JPM coach works in GA does gorgeous steering wheels, you may want to check them out.
