how to fix broken seat?

This is really easy, I just finished doing it on my car.
)Remove the seat via the 4 bolts on the floor.
)Take the 2 covers (left and right) off the mechanisms, where the seat pivots).
)There are 2 screws holding the back cover on the seat, near the bottom, remove those.
)Pop off the plastic handle that you use to pivot the seat forward. Then remove the plastic framing piece in the same place. Careful, you have to slide it to release a clip on the back and then it pops off I believe.
)Now remove the back cover.
)You should be able to see the whole mechanism now. It is composed of 3 wires and a pulley I think. Look to see if any of the connection points have just popped off and reinstall them if they have. If thats the case everything should be good to put back together now. If you see a broken cable, go to Home Depot, in the chain and rope section and buy the thinnest steel cable along with the aluminum crimps, I think it was 1/16".
)The horizontal wire is pretty self explanatory if thats broken. Cut the frayed end off and insert new wire using the crimps. If the vertical wire is broken, look near the bottom where the pivot point is. The wire should be attached to a pin via a connecter. Carefully unbend the connecter center part so that the connected can come off. Then remove the upper portion, this side is pretty easy. Measure your distance and insert the new wire.
)Do everything in reverse to put it back together.
