HVAC Panel lower dash light question

Hey fellers, after swapping my dash a few months ago I've noticed I may have missed a few of the light bulbs that light this area. I popped out the radio yesterday along with the euroclock and found one stuffed behind the radio. While messing with it the bulb blew, so I replaced it with these http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...er=964981_0_0_ . I thought it went under the Fan Speed adjuster in a small hole on the bottom left. After doing so the numbers light up but only about half as bright as the heat dial side and the sliders remain unlit. Am I missing a bulb/have one in the wrong spot or am I not using a bright enough bulb?

    Those are the right spots

I used LEDs that looked like shit.
Then I used the original 1.2w bulb
    Looked ok
Then finally I picked up the 2w bulbs that are the same size as the 1.2w bulb
    Looks great
    I got them from autozone

    On the right one
You have to make sure the bulb is not pushed in too far
Since the lights for the 3 slider use an optical fiber
If you push the bulb too far in, then you're missing the small opening on the left that has the optical fiber
