So I saw a user at one point who had a sig where he had autometer or similar gauges where his cluster goes...I have thought this looked great in other cars but I have a few questions...
Forgive me I am a noob when it comes to gauges as I have never put gauges in a car...Ive always just used a cluster...but...
If I remove the cluster do I run the risk of something not working or is it purely a monitoring tool?
How easy will it be to take certain functions of the cluster and translate them? What I mean is, say I have a put a light into the new dash that is for check engine, or for fuel pressure, or for fog lights on, do I simply just wire those up or is it more complex than that. Also will the Tach and Speedo just wire right up to the stock harness??
Anyway I know there is a lot to do and I should just start taking things apart to find out if it will really work or not, but here are some pictures of inspiration...
