    Real recaros?

    Anyone here know their s#!t?

I'm considering pulling the trigger on one of these sets, which the seller claims are legit recaros. I know the pics are not the best, but does anything jump out at people as these being fakes? Any input appreciated.

Yep. I prefer the top ones (L, LS?).
But seems they aren't the folding ones for coupes.

I was skeptical because the seller is in Asia (fear of knockoff stuff) but he just followed up with some pics that show recaro stamped on the plastic cover on the side and the recaro sticker. Looks legit. Pulling the trigger on the first set. Will look baller in the touring!

Those look like knock off Recaro Enjoys.

A friend of mine has these and it's slightly different. The grey material looks like a different texture.

It's possible they are legit but they are not Recaro Enjoys.

scroll down to #127 as you can see VERY different.

                here i'll just show you

I noticed the difference in material too, but I figured that it was possible they were not all made with that pattern or that these were reupholstered at some point.

They are seeming more legit than not to me. Here are the other pics he sent.

Careful... I've seen very genuine looking recaros for sale that are indeed fake. Even had fake stickers, plastic trim, etc. Seats aren't something that I would buy a cheap knockoff of just for safety reasons. Anyways, good luck.

Like I said they may be Recaros but not Enjoy's hence the difference.

But if you look at the pictures in my opinion the Recaro Enjoys i'm showing seem to be a much higher quality material.

Recaro made those with different fabric how stupid would it be if they made them with just one fabric choice from what ive seen fake Recaros have slight variations in them that make it so Recaro cant sue the freakin shit out of them, like the Recaro emblem on the side will be slightly different, from what i can tell those look real i would pick them depending on how much he wants for them

Appreciating the discussion here guys. Inconclusive it seems, but may be worth the risk. If anyone else has anything to add, please do!
