Opinions? Are the mkii recaro trophy or gti ls-b's much better than the e30 sport seats? Are they worth it? I currently have sport seats.....saw mkii recaros in the recaro thread and was wondering....

The Recaro "Trophy" seats are actually LS-B's. Trophy refers to the fabric pattern that VW used. I like my LS-B's better than sport seats. They feel more comfortable and more secure with the larger bolsters plus they are significantly lighter.Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. -Mark Twain -
Thanks for the reply! Can you tell me whether the ls-b's are wider than the sports? I'm a pretty skinny guy and don't need them to be wider.

The VW Mk2 seats are much better and the OEM sports.
I'm a small guy as well and the Recaros are much nicer to be sitting in.

they are a bit wider I think, but the seats are much better quality and the bolsters keep you planted better than sport seats.Comment

trophy's are just recaro lsb's with black vinyl bolsters and grey cloth centers. No functional difference between any any other lsbComment
