    Questions on some seats

I am wanting to get some seats soon for my E30 both front and rear and im wanting to drop some weight in my E30 but i want to try to Keep BMW seats. What would you recommend that are still comfy and sporty? I was thinking on getting some Vader's but i think those are pretty heavy.

Vaders are heavy your best sticking with stock seats unless you wanna fork over the cash for a nice race seat

I thought so damn. So my car has just comfort seats i would like to swap them. My seats are well destroyed. Its more cost effective to get used seats and reupholster them than it would be to restore my current seats. What about sport seats?

Sport seats are a direct bolt in, and the lightest as apposed to vaders. Bolsters for them are pretty frequently found at the yard, so you can reupholster them yourself. Used sets on Craigslist range from $50-$300 depending on condition; $50-$100 if you're lucky enough to find then at the yard

Plus, Vaders won't fit without special e30 brackets and some seat belt mount modding

Early Recaro seats found in e21s and mk1/2 Golfs have been known to fit with e30 brackets. If I remember correctly, the e21 Recaros were lighter, but the bolsters are not as large as the e30 sport seats. V-Dub Recaos are in between the e21 and e30 weights, but had much larger bolsters than either of them. I'm quite fond of the V-Dub Recaros myself

Also, this should've also been posted in "Appearence and Cosmetics" in the Interior section, but, there's your answer

Sperry seats are HEAVY. Your stock comfort seats well be lighter, but obviously not as "sporty". Pretty much all recaros are going to be a lot lighter and, imo, much more comfortable than sport seats.

Damn i was afrade of that cause i was trying not to spend $2000 on new seats if im going to be spending that kinda money on seats I guess i need to go where someone sells these seats and sit in them and see what i think. So i was looking at some Recaros and saw these. I know they are the most expensive but i figure if im going to buy seats look at ALL my options. I think they look cool never seen them in an E30 though.
