    1991 318i sedan: Missing trim on top of the rear view mirror

    I found out that the 318i does not have the check light panel above the rear view mirror.

    I don't know what's supposed to be there because whatever it's supposed to be, it's not there. PO took it out or something and so there is a hole with an electrical connector.

    Is there supposed to be interior reading light panel there?
    If so, could someone post a picture of it and also a part number of where I can get a replacement?

                                  It's not blank. But its completely and utterly useless. The check panel has a fasten seat belts light and thats pretty much it. I disconnected mine because its that useless.

                                      1991 318is --- currently not road worthy
                                      1991 318i ---- 308K - retired

                                          Yeah its useless but also NLA from BMW and hard to find in good condition. I'd scoop that one up from above.
