I thought I scored a real ACS vert dead pedal, but after some research, I think it's a real ACS non-vert dead pedal that has been trimmed to fit a vert. It has part number 5171 1070 on the back. Not too disappointed though.

Yes it is confusing. I had two black ACS dead pedals. They look the same. One had a part number. It read 5171 10 70. That one fits all e30s but not vert. I think the correct part number for a vert is # 5171 10 71.

It can't be done with a trimming, it would have to be done especially for vert, from scratch.

No worries. This is the first I've heard of someone reproducing the pedal with the ///M on it. It looks great. How much are you charging? I'm sure they will fit with a lot of trimming. Problem is I don't know anyone who has actually trimmed a factory M deadpedal since they are so rare and expensive. I wouldn't do it but if a replica is cheap enough, I might.

As stated above, this is non vert...

If there is enough intrest I can check what mods should be done to fit in a vert, so there could be a vert version available.

OK, sorry I missed that. Yes, I'd be interested in knowing if the m-tech dead pedal can be modded to fit a vert.
