    Whoever installed this stereo... (PO rant)

    This is how I imagine the person who installed the XM radio and other crap approached working on this car:

    1. Remove screws and clips that retain trim.
    2. Remove trim panels.
    3. Splice in mounds of inappropriate consumer electronics and wiring under the dash. Make sure to leave original electronics hanging by wires ONLY.
    4. Replace trim panels.
    5. Throw away screws and clips.
    6. Secure trim with drywall screws, or not. Whatever.

    There was literally an extra cigarette lighter socket under the dash with an XM radio power adapter glued in.

        Looks like he did my car too, except he removed the speakers and head unit before selling it. I found a bunch of random wiring and aftermarket alarm stuff wire. Prolly took about a day of looking through wiring diagrams/ tracing wires to remove all of it.
        I have friends who are EOD bro.

        That's awesome. I have friends who make coffee for a living, but you don't see me rocking out a bunch of lattes
