    steering wheel removal

I was at pick a part today, and watched a guy battle a steering wheel for an hour, I took a look and it didnt appear to have anything holding it on, I just wobbled around on the steering shaft, Do they have a clip in the rear? what its the procedure for removing a non airbag wheel?

Steering lock was probably holding it on. I'm guessing the key wasn't in it?

Use a star drive socket a bit larger than the allen head, tap it in with a hammer, and remove.

I know this is likely a little late, but I just removed one from a locked wheel at the Pick N Pull. I used a hacksaw. Cut right behind the wheel, and it took about 30 seconds. Came right off. $12 MTech wheel was mine.
