I ran e46 winter cab mats in my e30 cabby. They fit well

Has anyone else tried this? Seems pretty rare to find vert floor mats, so I need another solution, preferably OEM.

    And what about anchoring clips?
The anchoring system uses velcro circles. You screw them into the carpet much like the e30 anchors and theres the other side of the velcro on the bottom of the floor mats that attach to them. Heres a picture to show what im trying to describe

Unfrotunately, I only have the rubber 1 series mats, which differ slightly from the carpet 1 series mats, although I imagine they are close enough. Heres the passanger side installed:

Hope this gives you an idea. The rubber 1 series mats actually fit better then the e30 mats... unfortunately I dont have the carpet versions to compare.

I just bought a new set for $110 shipped from this guy: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=254642
...but it appears that they are completely sold out and NLA.

I came here thinking he would still have them, but it turns out I have nothing useful to contribute... continue on guys.

Thanks but I bought a set of new E30 mats last year. I was just putting it out there in case someone was looking.

$86 shipped is a good price though! Way less then I spent on mine!

I don't think the mats from the 1 series are different from the e90/92 3 series
As far as I know the 1 series is built on the 3 series platform
Iirc the 1 series is built on the e46 chassis.

Yep. The passenger is pretty much just a big rectangle and the two rears fit just fine.
