Dashboard the same from an on all models?

Wad wondering if all dash boards are conpatible?
I'm about to pick up a dash for my 89 325i sedan. It's coming off an 325es coupe don't know if that makes a difference??

Just make sure you have the coding plugs switched out or your tachometer will read wrong.

M3 has the vin tag like 6 inches farther towards the middle

early dashes also have the seat belt light thing on the top
