Can you retrofit roof chk panel into car w/sunroof?

Got myself a 318i with electric sunroof and was thinking about putting this panel in, Though I have a feeling the headliner etc is lower and that it might not work.

Can anyone confirm?

Cant undertsand your question...
It doesn't matter if sun roof is power or manual the check panel fits in.
BTW AFAIK 318's DONT have the wireharness for "check" functions

Yes it's possible but no it isn't worth all the hassle.

I hav eheard it is really difficult.

Yeah, the one that runs under the sunvisors. I know there is no wiring loom for the check lights in the 318, but I'm wanting to install it for another purpose ;-)

The visir panel are all the same (except verts) and you can swap out the blank (318 one) for a "check" (325 one)
BTW the I have a spare check panel if you want
