I have a set of custom made floor mats
They looks amazing
They have a rubber backing so they don't slip
They are black, with the M3 logo, and red piping around the border

I heard a place called cocomats makes custom ones for e30s as well and they're great qualityLeave a comment:

If all goes well I'll have an old set of OEM E30 mats next week.
Then it's just sourcing carpet, backing, and the binding. I don't have embroidery equipment so they would be straight carpet mats.
I'm going to do black first as that's what I'd like in my car.Leave a comment:

Thanks for the info guys! Just picked up my '84 coupe without any mats. Now I know what to get.
Rock on!Leave a comment:

Too bad nobody wanted to buy the OEM mats from me when they were still available. Hopefully they decide to come out with them again. when I worked at a dealer, there were some instances of BMW retracting the NLA on certain accessories.Leave a comment:

I have e46 mats in mine, and they fit well. Fronts are not perfect, but the rears are very close IMO.Leave a comment:

As a follow up, even if y'all already know. BMW doesn't produce those mats at all anymore. Guess its one series fronts and aftermarket backs.Leave a comment:

I had a lot of trouble finding true OEM mats on ebay.. I didn't know that 1 series fronts were identical though. Thanks for the info!Leave a comment:

I need to get a set of mats to template from.
Edit: if someone wants to sacrifice a set of mats, I'll replace them for just over materials cost. I can't do woven edges so you'd have some other kind of binding.Leave a comment:
