I Use BMW E39 Floor Mats , They Fit Perfectly on the E30 .
The Difference Is Less Than 1 cm , Also The Rear One Set Better .
But The 1 Cm is In The Driver Side , But if you Don't have An M-Tech Dead Pedal foot rest , Then They'll fit like a Charm . I Am Currently Using All weather E39 Floor Mats , Actually They're Cheaper Than E30's and Easier to find.Leave a comment:

I just picked up my 1 series rubber mats (for my 84' 352e). They fit flawless!
I only ordered the 2piece fronts from the dealership. $60 w/tax!Leave a comment:

I noticed the large uncovered carpet area also. Maybe they did it to accommodate the cabrio's narrower floorpan while only maintaining one set of mats?Regarding the rear mats. Early 84-85 cars had these wide mats like the E82 covered the frame "hump" on the side and protected the carpet area. Later mats were long/narrow and fit the indentation perfectly but doesn't completely cover the carpet. Who really needs the mat to go farther under the front seats anyway?
I'm thinking more carpet covered the better. The ones I'm making are going to cover as much as possible, wide and long. ;)Leave a comment:

Anyone know a source for rubber mats? Does the 1 series have that option? For the iX's winter duty. Tempted to try a set of weathertech but little bit nervous about fitment on the iX due to the transfer case bulge: http://www.weathertech.com/bmw/1991/...s-all-weather/Leave a comment:

I would like a OEM set but they seem to be a bitch to find so I will probably just bite the bullet an get dinan ones I would assume they would be on par with OE fit and finishLeave a comment:

Aleman, I would not have expected that type of shoddy floor mat from Bav Auto. I would send it back. That cheap sisal is going to leave all kinds of 'hairs' in your interior once it starts breaking down. And those edges look cheap as hell. Good from 10', but that's about it.Leave a comment:

Seeing as I got a set of mats from this thread I figured I'd post up the results of my project. I made this today. I'll have a whole set made up sometime next week. They take a decent amount of time.
This is Bentley carpet with cloth binding and nibbed backing. My neighbor asked where I purchased it while I was outside snapping pics.

BavAuto Coco mats NOT the real thing
"Coco" floor mats arrived today, and I am not thrilled with the quality or fit. I'm probably going to return them unless they grow on me in the next 24 hours. I thought I was buying real Coco mats, but after I ordered them, I found out that there are lots fakes out there. The ones from Bav Auto are not the real deal. Anyway, look at the pics & decide for yourself. Would you keep these if you paid $145 (+ shipping) for a set of 4?
The color is great and they look OK from 4 feet away...
But the heel reinforcement is useless, because it's way too far from the gas pedal. It's also made of soft plastic instead of rubber, so it reeks of cheap:
The binding around the edges shows very poor quality:
The fit is only so-so. There is a small hump at the front left of the seat rail, which should have been cut-out, so the entire rear edge of the mat doesn't lift up:
These mats are not recommended.Leave a comment:
