    Shift knob help!!!

    Ok I'm a noob yes idc and yes I searched

    Anyways, I'm confused on what shift pattern my car is I have a 84 325e but I don't know what shift knob to get because there's two different patterns please help me

    So here's one


    And this is the other one
    00 328i 16x
    85 318i unknown mileage

    Yeah, most likely the second one. Only euro M3's came with the dogleg pattern

      ^ What he said, but the easy way to tell is based on where your first gear is. If your first gear is left and up then it is the second one, if it is left and down then it is the first one.

        How do you not know what shift pattern you have? Have you never driven the car?

                      US E30 M3 did not have a different shift pattern than any other 5 speed E30.
