Hey guys,
I'm sure I missed a simple step in here, but need some help.
Removed steering wheel, swapped out turn signal switch. Before putting it all back, plugged battery back in and tested. Horn would not turn off. Thought maybe it was some sort of a fluke because the steering wheel/horn was removed. Put it all, 100% back together, connected battery again, horn STILL going off.
I have removed the fuse for now but would like a working horn. What did I miss? I did notice one thing that I hadn't seen before now: there is a small harness on one of the wires coming off of the turn signal switch that connects to a spring. It is possible I installed this wrong, as it came out suddenly and I didn't see how it originally sat.
Thanks for any advice.
Jeff
