Why are the window switches in the center console?

be careful that the switches havent melted from the transmission being so close. had to change mine. wasn't terrible but there should have been something to protect them

Well the switches themselves get quite hot, maybe they were cheap replacements. They shouldn't melt. Check your fuses as well.

If they put them in the door, they probably would put them in an annoying place like the door handles lol :P

HAHA. Funny you mentioned it, it doesn't bother me that much. But i have a friend that every time rides in my car complains about it. LOL
