Blower motor in a 24V

Just spent some time getting to my blower motor in my 24V E30.

I can get the old one out by beating the crap out of it. But I'm not confident I can get the new one in without damage. Is there any tricks to this?


Thinking the Intake Mani. might have to come off.


Anyone done this on a swapped E30?

Jack the car up, get an engine support bar, and drop the subframe 6 inches. Easier than causing an annoying vacuum leak.

haha i left my blower motor in there for 5 months because i didnt want to tackle it. Ended up doing it when i replaced my clutch and dropped the motor. By far the best way of going about it. lower the subframe and get to it man!
