    Feeler: black vinyl sport seats

I tried searching, but I feel that this is kind of too specific...
I'm just curious how much a pair of clean black leatherette sport seats goes for in todays market. I found a pair that looks very clean without any rips or broken seams. What should I offer? I'm not sure if the shocks to tilt the seat work or not as the seller didn't specify. Can that affect the value much? The asking price is $375. Ouch.

doubtful the shocks work, but thats not a big deal. Make sure there is little to no play in the seat back, and that the frames are solid. That includes the bottom outside bolster driver's side, which is often broken at the weld.

Is it worth it? Its all in the eye of the beholder. If they are mint, match your interior and you're keeping the car, then it may be what you're looking for. If you try to reupholster existing seats it going to cost way more than $375....

If its just to turn around on the board for a profit, don't bother.
