Anyone use SEM Aerosol Dye for carpet?

Im going all black and have all the panels already but I need to get the carpet and rear seat black. Im wondering how well the SEM spray works. Its advertised as a touch up and not for a drastic color change. How hard could it be to go from light to dark? I had my e34 carpet dyed black from a professional company before but they dont want to do it again.

I just hope that it still "feels" like a carpet should after an aresol dye

Right, that would be one of my concerns too. I think if its done with light coats and brushed in it shouldnt harden. I plan to have black floor mats too so as long as the visible carpet is black without feeling plastic I would be happy. Just wondering if anyone has personal experience with dyeing their carpet using aerosol.
