Help me ID these seats?

found a potential parts car, 86 325es, but haven't seen these seats before. are they even bmw? any thoughts?

they scream japanese oem to me, but i have no idea, do they look like quality seats or ebay specials? (are the hinges and recliners something youd likely see in a factory car?)

Thanks. Hoping to get out there and look the car over this weekend so I'll report back. Maybe it'll be easy and there will be a Toyota tag or something on the bottom.

Yeah, I think you nailed it, didn't work out to meet up with seller this weekend but will try this week. Holding out hope stock seats are in a garage somewhere...

I can confirm, those are RSX-S seats.

FYI, those are $200 seats pretty much all day long. I picked up a set for $40 out of sheer luck. Mounted them up in my e30 and they are very nice to sit in. So much so that I plan on taking them out and installing them in my 4Runner instead and get some e36 seats into another e30 I have. I drive the 4Runner way more.

Got to see the car today, pass seat was in ok shape, driver was rough. I'm looking for bits to go in my 76 2002, and while the rsx seats fit ok in an e30, theyd look a bit out of place in the 02 I think, plus look like they'd sit really high in my car. Search continues...
