Hey guys I've been searching but couldn't find the answer. Do any of you know if it's possible to fit a rear seat from a touring into a sedan? thanks in advance.
Thanks for the info, I could have sworn I've seen somewhere that you can make them fit. I honestly don't care how I get them on there as nobody would ever sit on them. Just wondering if any of you had an idea to make it work. THanks.

Reason: missed information provided
The touring seats attach differently as shown in this picture. They bottom pieces are intended to fold forward, the seatbacks also fold forward and have locking latches built into the backs.
The rear seats in a coupe and sedan are fixed and these attachment points are molded into the foam itself.
Why would you want to put touring seats in? Aren't they pretty much the same asthetically as 4-door seats?
Have a chance to get a full mtech interior but it's from a touring. I mean worst case I'll keep my black bench seat and eventually my plan is to build a nice touring so I'll keep this interior for that.
Hey Drew, whats up man? your cars are looking great. Im trying to get this M-Tech II Sedan project into the next phase in the next few weeks. I'm thinking of going with an interior from a touring but the rear seat is going to be an issue. I might just go with it anyway since I think my next project will be a Touring so I'll use it for that as well. We should get together this summer.
Basically, you take the fold down touring seat fabric and sew it together. You don't use the actual seat core, just the fabric, and form fit the fabric to the sedan seat core. easy peasy.

Thanks for the info, Im trying to avoid doing that since I'm pretty sure my next project will be a touring and I want to use this same interior. What I need to do is find another rear seat and do what you did. Thanks again.
