I got a great deal on an mtech wheel that needs recovered, am I an asshole for considering cardinal leather to match my interior? The mockup I did looks nice but I'm concerned I will blow $150 and have it look shitty.

Sort of what I figured. I was intrigued but it's probably for the best. Anyone know a decent place to get it recovered?sigpic

I'd stick with black. It's easier to match and it's going to hide dirt better. You generally don't notice because its such a dark color but steering wheels are filthy things. Cardinal you're going to be cleaning constantly. I also think the transition from black dash/steering column to cardinal wheel is going to look awkward. If anything I think a wheel could be a two tone cardinal-black but I don't think the M tech 1 lends itself well to that.
