First off, I went to realoem but the diagram does not even show the locking nut so I have no confidence in the diagram.
Second, this is not my picture but I found it through search, so I did at least try that.
I do NOT have an airbag car- mine is an '89. I am switching from the 4-spoke rubber wheel to an M-Tech wheel.

So the issue:
WITH this in place my horn does not work. Without it the lock nut runs out of threads on the shaft before it actually locks the steering wheel in place.
Solution?
