How To Remove Steering Wheel With the Lock Engaged?

I am trying to take a steering wheel out of an e30 in the junkyard, but the steering lock is engaged and there are no keys for the car.

Is there any way I can disengage the steering lock? (simple ways)

Haha sounds legit. I also heard that drilling on the top of the column where the pin is can disengage it if you push the pin down with the drill bit. You have to be very precise and I don't know where to drill though.

Any other ideas?

A hacksaw works too. There's a picture floating around online, I know I've seen it posted here before, but it shows exactly where to cut across the top of the column.
