    Rewebbing Seat Belts

    Hello,

I am looking into changing my seat belt color, and not pay like 500 bucks for the fronts. I tried to search for this but does anyone have any info on rewinding a belt into the mechanism? I haven't gotten my hands on a spare seat belt yet.

I, too, am looking for this info. Won't find much. Those who tinker and DIY on't say much about it. I see liability being an issue.

Ssnykoil, from a corvette forum provides this service. It is very expensive.

An upholstery shop may be a place to look as they likely have the equipment to sew/fasten; dealing with the spring in the retractor Ive read to be aa can of worms.

I want a seatbelt system to tinker with.

Yea, I emailed a shop about sewing the anchor loops in. But I'm going to try and get a seat belt thing to play with for cheap.

There are places online that do it. It is very common in the muscle car crowd.
