What thread color to go with..??

Im thinking of getting my sport steering wheel (NOT the mtech one shown) recovered and have been thinking of going with tri-colored thread that uses the German flag colors instead of M-Tech colors. I photoshopped the picture below real quick to get an idea... Should I do it or keep the thread black?

Go with the German colors! Everyone has the Mtech colors at least that way you'll have something unique

I do like the German flag stitches, looks nice. Id be worried about it matching the rest of the interior but that's minor and maybe you could get a shift or ebrake boot with the same stitching to go along.

^ Agreed. I would only do the yellow and red if you had a few other subtle accents, like a grille badge or handbrake boot. A shifter boot may even be too much. If you don't overplay it, the german colors will look real sweet

As you can see in my signature, I do have a grille badge. Im not a fan of the handbrake boots made of cloth/leather. It would only be the grille badge, steering wheel and possible the shift boot.

You should put the colors in the correct order if you do decide to do it.
